General Tips

  • Press the corresponding button repeatedly immediately after restarting. You don't have to wait for the logo to appear.
  • in the event that F2 No effect, try DelF1F10Esc
  • Some newer computers (Windows 10/11) can access UEFI via System Settings:
Settings → Update & Security → Recovery → Advanced Boot (Reboot Now) → Troubleshooting → Advanced Options → UEFI Firmware Settings
  • If the entry is Launch Menu(Boot Menu), usually the keys are F12F11Esc(Choose from Enter BIOS or Temporary Boot Device).

For more precise key presses, it is recommended that you pay attention to the bottom of the screen when you turn on the device or check the specific model number of the corresponding brand in the manual.

To access the Apple Mac's firmware settings (similar to a traditional BIOS), press and hold the Option (⌥) key until the Boot Manager screen appears. On this screen, you can select a different boot disk, or press the Command (⌘) + R Enter recovery mode, then open the Boot Security Utility from the Utilities menu to adjust UEFI settings (e.g., secure boot, external boot, etc.).

If you just want to go directly into recovery mode to modify the firmware settings, press and hold the Command (⌘) + R Ready to go.
